Larry Lytle of Aventura Aventura Police Department

The wife of 84-year-old Aventura resident Larry Lytle saw him at their home around 9:45 p.m on April 3. Aventura police say she didn’t see him again before security saw Lytle walking out of the Point East apartment complex around 2 p.m. the next day.

Nobody has seen Lytle since. Police want the public’s help finding him.

Lytle was seen walking down Biscayne Boulevard. He’s 5-10 with gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a white shirt and black pants.

Police say he suffers from dementia and if found, he’ll know his name and birth date, but little else. Lytle changed his name from Pedro Hernandez many years ago.

Anyone with any knowledge of Lytle’s whereabouts should call 305-466-8989, ext. 8129 or email leoncinim@aventurapolice.com.
