Cop-shooting suspect makes court appearance

Elton Bandoo, accused of shooting and wounding North Miami Beach Police Officer Lino Diaz during a raid last week, appeared in court Tuesday for a brief scheduling hearing.

His family claims he thought his home was being robbed.

Charged with attempted murder of a police officer, Bandoo will plead not guilty, according to his lawyer.
