Restaurant on South Dixie Highway robbed at gunpoint
A newly released video by Miami-Dade police shows two men robbing a McDonald’s at gunpoint.
The men took an unknown amount of money from the restaurant, 26601 S. Dixie Hwy. in South Miami-Dade, on Dec. 3.
One man went through the drive-through window and took a cash box from the counter. The other man held the victims at gunpoint. The men left the scene in a black Nissaan.
No one was injured.
Police are investigating and asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
