Two men dead in early morning shooting

Miami police are investigating a shooting that left two men dead early Saturday morning.

The men were found in a vehicle on southbound Interstate 95 at Northwest 54th Street at about 3 a.m., according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The passenger was found dead when the trooper arrived, while the driver was found outside the car with several gunshot wounds. The driver was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he later died.

No information has been released on a potential suspect and FHP troopers don’t think the shooting took place on I-95.
