AA flight diverted due to ‘disruptive passenger’ lands safely at MIA
An American Airlines flight landed safely at Miami International Airport after having been diverted to Charleston because of a ‘disruptive passenger,’ officials said.
Flight 1006 left Boston Logan International Airport at about 1:20 p.m. Wednesday and after about two hours had to make a stop in Charleston on the South Carolina coast.
American Airlines Spokesman Ross Feinstein said the passenger was taken off the aircraft and the plane was able to take off again before 5 p.m.
It landed just before 7 p.m. at Miami International Airport.
