Miami-Dade Transit bus hits two cars; at least one injured

A Miami-Dade bus collided with two cars Wednesday Morning at the corner of Northwest 46th Street and 18th Avenue. The public service aide on the scene said a passenger was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Miami's Luis Gomez, whose car was the second hit, said that a Ford Explorer turning left off southbound 18th didn't wait for a van in front of him to turn right, which would clear his sight line. The Explorer came out to make the left and got hit by the eastbound bus, which then caromed into Gomez's Honda, sitting at the stop sign on 18th south of 46th.

Meanwhile, the Explorer crashed through the front yard fence of the house on the intersection's southeast corner.
