During the month of April, anyone can vote for one of three Miami-Dade parks to win $20,000 towards a park revitalization project.

The grant will come from the Parks Build Community grant award from the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA). The NRPA has collaborated with The Walt Disney Company to improve parks around the nation, according to Miami-Dade County spokeswoman Laura Phillips.

The three eligible Miami-Dade County Parks are: Gwen Cherry Park, 7090 NW 22 Ave., Miami, which would develop a community garden; Ojus Park, 18995 W. Dixie Hwy., near North Miami Beach, which would develop a new site for a disability services after-school program; and Ruben Dario Park, 9825 W. Flagler St., Miami, which would develop a youth enrichment and sports program.

To cast your vote, visit nrpa.org/BeInspired or at any Miami-Dade County park. Voting closes April 30.
