A man was critically injured Sunday after his car was hit from behind by a speeding driver who then took off, according to police.
The hit-and-run crash happened just before 3 a.m. in the 2200 block of Northwest 41st Street in Miami-Dade.
On Tuesday, police said that they were looking for a black 2013 four-door Kia Optima with extensive front-end damage and missing driver's side headlight.
Police say the injured man was heading south on 22nd Avenue in a black Honda Accord when another car “traveling at a high rate of speed” slammed into the back of his car.
