The Miami-Dade Police Department is asking for the community's help in finding the people responsible for a daylong crime spree that included two shootings and four robberies in Northwest Miami-Dade.
Police say they are investigating six different incidents Sunday: a shooting at Northwest 95th Street and Little River Drive; a shooting at Northwest 91st Street and 27th Avenue; a roadside robbery at Northwest 134th Street and 27th Avenue; a robbery at a Chevron gas station, 3251 NW 103rd St.; a robbery at a bus stop at Northwest 127th Street and East Randall Park Drive and a robbery at a bus stop at Northwest 125th Street and Northwest 17th Avenue.
Police spokesman Daniel Ferrin said detectives are not releasing details about each incident “because there is an investigation in progress and they don't want to hamper it.”
Ferrin said detectives believe the cases may be related.

In three of the incidents, police say a white pick-up truck was used. In two of them, a silver Nissan Rogue was used, police say.
Police also released a similar description of the robbers in several of the cases: a man between 16 and 25, thin build and wearing dark clothing. A second man also believed to be about the same height with a medium build and wearing a black sweatshirt with a hood.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 305-471-TIPS(8477).
