Police: Two masked robbers stole a BrandsMart USA truck in Northwest Miami-Dade after robbing the delivery men

Two masked men — one of whom was carrying a silver firearm — intercepted two BrandsMart deliverymen as they dropped off merchandise at a Northwest Miami-Dade home Thursday, according to police.

Police say the masked men then stole money and cell phones from the deliverymen and four people inside the home and made off in the truck with the merchandise.

The incident happened just after noon at a home in the 2100 block of Northwest 42nd Street.

As the men left in the 1997 Isuzu FTR truck — with a BrandsMart logo and a tag number EABL97 — in an eastbound direction, one of the robbers fired at the victims. No one was hit.

One of the robbers was dressed in light blue jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt and had a red bandana covering his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
