Police: Man with gunshot wound shows up at aunt’s house, collapses

A man with a gunshot wound showed up at his aunt's Miami home Sunday morning, knocked on the door and collapsed, Miami police confirmed.

But where he came from was a mystery, said Miami Police spokeswoman Frederica Burden.

"There was no blood trail," she said.

Burden said there had been no reports of a shooting near the apartment at 840 NW 70th St.

Miami Herald news partner CBS4 reported that Miami-Dade police confirmed there was a shooting reported in the area. The station also said the victim was a teenager.
