Police are investigating whether an American Airlines flight attendant fatally shot her boyfriend and then turned the gun on herself after an argument in their apartment near Miami International Airport.

According to Miami police, the couple's bodies were found Friday inside a first-floor apartment at 4325 Tamiami Canal Dr. Police did not release their names because next of kin had not been notified.

The boyfriend had worked as a baggage handler for American Airlines.

Police said they are investigating the couple’s deaths as a possible murder-suicide.
