Three shot outside Miami home
Three people were recovering Monday in the hospital after they were shot while sitting outside a Miami home late Sunday.
Miami Police arrived at the house at 1441 NW 68th Street and found three people bleeding on the ground. Witnesses said the sound of rapid gunfire could be heard for blocks.
“I didn’t hear anyone screaming, nothing,” said one neighbor. “It was over just that quick and police came around the corner.”
Two women and one man were injured in the shooting. They were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Family members identified the victims as Brandy Hicks, Krissy Nance and Dalquan Picket.
“They were sitting in front of the house, chilling, having fun. That’s what we always do,” said a family member who did not want to be identified.
Miami Police have released little information on the shooting. The motive and suspects in the shooting are unknown.
Anyone with information in the case is urged to call Miami-Dade CrimeStoppers at (305) 471- TIPS.
