A man has died after an overnight crash on State Road 874 in Miami-Dade County on Tuesday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

At around 1:10 a.m., a driver in a white Mercedes coupe was going south on SR 874, also knows as the Don Shula Expressway, near Southwest 104th Street when he collided into a freight truck, troopers say.

The Mercedes driver died at the scene.

The southbound lanes were closed for around three hours during the investigation.
