A Miami man has been missing since a charter boat trip, Coast Guard and cops say

SUNDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE: A body was found in Biscayne Bay near the Brickell area. Miami police would say only that the body was now part of a Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission case. An FWC spokesperson said the agency “would provide any information as soon as it becomes available.”

Miami police and the U.S. Coast Guard are looking for a Miami man who hasn’t been seen since a Saturday charter boat trip.

The Coast Guard said 23-year-old Akin Liverpool had been on a charter boat that went from Hobie Beach to the Miami River via Biscayne Bay. That’s the last anyone saw of him.
