Man run over by car was stabbed just moments before, Miami-Dade deputies say

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies are trying to get to the bottom of a chaotic string of events that involved a man being stabbed and then struck by a car, authorities say Tuesday.
Sometime before midnight on Monday, the unidentified man was stabbed near Northwest 17th Avenue and 77th Street, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said. What led up to the attack or who was involved is unclear.
As the injured man walked away, he was struck by a car, the driver of which stayed and waited for deputies.
Miami-Dade Rescue rushed the man to a hospital, his condition has not been released by authorities.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about the stabbing to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
