Man dies in South Dade car crash that injured a second person

A Monday morning car crash in South Dade took one man’s life and injured another man.

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a 9 a.m. call about a crash near Southwest 288th Street and Old Dixie Highway.

Deputies found two injured men when they arrived and notified Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue pronounced one of the men dead upon their arrival.

The second man was transported to a nearby hospital.

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
