Still thinking about going to the big Miami-Indiana championship game?

Ticket prices are rising — and they’re going fast.

If you’re still chasing the dream of attending the Jan. 19 game at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, you’ll likely have to turn to the secondary market to be one of the approximately 65,000 fans in the stands.

And on that market, prices at Stubhub.com start at around $3,400, an increase of about $400 Monday from Friday. At vividseats.com, prices are up about $300 from last week, with a ticket starting around $3,300.

The most expensive ticket? That soared as of Monday to $77,000 on Stubhub, from $50,000 last week.

A limited number of tickets will be available for 2026 UM season-ticket holders or Hurricane Club members to purchase. The Hurricane Club is a fundraising organization that supports the university’s athletes. Those ticket holders or club members can buy tickets Tuesday, Jan. 13, at noon and 2 p.m.

But to qualify for a time slot, fans will need to buy 2026 football season tickets or 2026 Hurricane Club memberships by 12:59 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12.

In a week, the big game will pit Indiana University against the University of Miami. The Hoosiers are in their first college football championship, and the Hurricanes will be playing in their home stadium for their first championship since 2003.
