Three teens hospitalized after fiery crash in Kendale Lakes, deputies say

Three teenagers were hospitalized after the car they were in struck a wall and caught fire in Southwest Miami-Dade early Tuesday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Around 3:45 a.m., Miami-Dade deputies responded to Southwest 142nd Avenue and Southwest 68th Street in Kendale Lakes and found a single vehicle that had struck a wall and caught fire.

No one was inside the car when it caught fire, which was “quickly extinguished,” deputies say.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue took the teens, who were 15 to 17 years old, to a local hospital in stable condition.

Deputies did not provide information as to what may have caused the crash.
