Every year before Thanksgiving, the president pardons a couple of turkeys.
In Miami-Dade, before Nochebuena, the mayor pardons a pig.
On Tuesday, County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava pardoned a porker named “Six Seven,” after the nonsensical Gen Z vibe that originated in song and is now a mysterious expression to adults everywhere.
We may not be spared from the “Six Seven” craze, but the namesake pig will be spared from becoming someone’s holiday lechón dinner.
