Two people dead in possible domestic shooting in southwest Miami-Dade
Answering a 911 call of a person hurt, Miami-Dade deputies discovered a man and a woman bleeding from gunshot wounds at a southwest Miami-Dade home early Saturday afternoon, the sheriff’s office said. The two died hours later.
Around 1 p.m., the 911 call came into the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office reporting a man bleeding in the 17000 block of Southwest 153rd Court, said Detective Samantha Choon, a sheriff’s office spokeswoman.
They found the man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived and pronounced them dead at the scene.
Deputies have not released details on the shooter or the situation leading up to the shooting. Homicide detectives are investigating and looking into the possibility of the incident being a domestic dispute, Choon said.
“The investigation is still in its infancy, so we don’t have that information,” she said.
This is a developing story.
