Heat coach Erik Spoelstra’s Miami-Dade County house went up in flames early Thursday as he watched from outside.

The house, which last sold for more than $6 million in 2023, was heavily damaged and arts were destroyed or collapsed.

Miami-Dade firefighters cordoned off the front entrance to Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra’s house after extinguishing the two-alarm blaze that engulfed the home near Ponce and Davis roads in Miami-Dade County early Thursday morning, Nov. 6, 2025. Noone was injured but it took firefighters about eight hours to extinguish the blaze.
