Miami police recover body found floating in Biscayne Bay off Coconut Grove
Miami police detectives are investigating the death of a man whose body was found floating in the bay just offshore of Coconut Grove Friday morning near Mercy Hospital.
Marine Patrol officers found the body in the water near 3663 South Miami Avenue after receiving a call around 8 a.m., said police spokeswoman Vanessa Morales.
Detectives did not have the man’s identification as of late Friday morning, Morales said.
“The scene remains active,” she said.
