Two vehicles hit by a gunman unloading shots on I-95 in Miami-Dade, FHP says
A passenger in a Mercedes-Benz SUV opened fire on Interstate-95 in Miami-Dade County, striking two other vehicles Wednesday afternoon, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The shots rang out around 12:45 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the highway at Northwest 103rd Street, FHP Lt. Alejandro Camacho said.
The gunman fired toward other cars on the road and hit a gray BMW and a white Dodge Ram pickup, Camacho added, noting that no one was injured.
The Mercedes, which had a temporary tag, was last seen getting off the highway on exit 8A onto Northwest 95th Street, according to the FHP.
Troopers are asking anyone with information on the car or occupants to call Miami-Dade CrimeStoppers at 305-471-8477 or submit a tip online.
