A young girl was grazed by a stray bullet while sleeping in Northwest Miami-Dade early Wednesday morning, according to MDSO.
A young girl was grazed by a stray bullet while sleeping in Northwest Miami-Dade early Wednesday morning, according to MDSO.

A teenage girl was grazed by a stray bullet as she slept in her bed overnight Wednesday in Northwest Miami-Dade, according to the Sheriff’s office.

Around 3:15 a.m. deputies responded to a person grazed by a stray bullet in the area of Northwest 69th Avenue and 173rd Drive.

Deputies said the 17-year-old was grazed “around her lower extremities.” The bullet came in through a window.

Miami-Dade County Fire Rescue responded and treated her on scene.

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is investigating and has not released any additional information.
