Cyclist air lifted to Jackson after crash in Northwest Miami-Dade: MDSO
A bicyclist was hospitalized late Monday night after colliding with a car in Northwest Miami-Dade, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.
At around 10:35 p.m., a car was going westbound on Northwest 103rd Street, approaching the intersection at Northwest 30th Court.
“While entering the intersection, a bicyclist improperly crossed NW 103rd Street and the front of the vehicle collided with the bicyclist,” MDSO spokesperson Luis Sierra said in an email to the Miami Herald.
The bicyclist sustained injuries and was air lifted to Jackson Ryder Hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
The cyclist is now in stable condition, Sierra added.
