Vendors can snag a spot at this Miami mall for less than $800. Here’s how
At Miami’s Capsule marketplace, local small business owners sell their goods in a large, well-lit space.
Located in River Landing Shops in Allapattah, Capsule is a store that shares the open-air mall space with major retailers like Five Below, Hobby Lobby, Old Navy and T.J. Maxx. Vendors at Capsule have their own space to sell their products within the store, creating something akin to an indoor farmers market.
There are also opportunities for a different set of vendors to sell their products in front of the store every Sunday and on the last Saturday of the month.
How to get involved
Liz Ceballos, a retail manager with decades of experience, helps Capsule vendors grow their businesses and become part of the community of Miami entrepreneurs.
Vending in Capsule costs between $750 and $2,000 a month, depending on how large the space is. To ask about becoming a tenant, business owners can email info@riverlanding.com.
To ask about getting a table in the weekly market on the first floor of River Landing, Ceballos said businesses can reach out to her via linktr.ee/HerpreneurByLiz.
Ceballos conducts tours of the space for potential tenants throughout the week and also gives walk-in tours of the 4,000-square-foot location.
Her only ask is that businesses already have a digital presence, such as a social media profile or website.
“We’re looking for businesses that have their own e-commerce platform,” she said.
