Cabbie ripped off by man with strange tats on knuckles

Police shouldn’t have too much trouble identifying this robber.

Taking his love for the 305 perhaps just a bit too far, a man accused of robbing money from a taxi cab driver has been identified as having the words “Dade” on the knuckles of his right hand, and “County” on his left hand knuckles.

Still, it’s been more than a month since the Sept. 11 heist, when the man allegedly held a gun to a cab driver after he dropped off a client he had driven all the way from Boynton Beach to Northwest 12th Avenue and 140th Terrace.

The suspect fled, and no one was injured.

Anyone who knows someone with similar markings on their knuckles is urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
