A man was fatally shot Monday afternoon when an argument escalated and guns were drawn, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.

The shooting happened around 12:30 p.m. on the 18400 block of Southwest 86th Court in Cutler Bay, according to detectives.

The argument became increasingly heated, and both men pulled out guns, said Detective Argemis Colome, a Sheriff’s Office spokesman. It’s unclear if they both opened fire, but one of the men was shot, Colome said.
