Dozens of videos surfaced on social media early Saturday showing what appeared to be ex-football star Antonio Brown involved in a scuffle with several men after a Friday night event in Miami.

In a post on X, Brown said that he “was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me.” According to Brown, he was briefly detained by police but released when officers “received my side of the story.”

Growing social media influencer Adin Ross held a boxing event at a Miami warehouse Friday night. After the event, video shows several men fighting with Brown in what commenters said was an attempted robbery of Brown.

In one video, Brown is seen running through a crowd that had formed in the aftermath. Once Brown was out of frame, possible gunshots could be heard.

In other videos, Brown is seen in handcuffs being escorted by an officer away from the crowd.

Sometime after the events outside the warehouse, Brown appeared on a Ross livestream and, when questioned about what happened, he said, “I got CTE, I blacked out. I ain’t know what happened.”

In a brief news release that appears to be linked to the incident, Miami police said they received a ShotSpotter alert, which notifies officers to possible gunfire, in the area of Northeast Second Avenue and 67th Street around 3 a.m. Saturday. Officers canvassed the area and interviewed several people, but no arrests were made and no injured persons were located. The investigation remains ongoing.

Brown said in his post that he would look into the possibility of “pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me.”

Brown grew up in Liberty City and graduated from Miami Norland High School. During his NFL career, he played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the then-Oakland Raiders, the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
