2 people rushed to hospital after afternoon shooting in Miami-Dade, deputies say

Two people were rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds after a shooting Tuesday afternoon in Miami-Dade County, deputies said.

Around 2:40 p.m., Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies said they were called to reports of a shooting in the 1500 block of Northeast Sixth Avenue.

Deputies arrived and found one person suffering from gunshot wounds. During their investigation, they discovered another wounded person ran from the area of the shooting and was found a few blocks away.

Both were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition. Deputies did not have information on any possible suspects.

The investigation is still being conducted.
