Two arrested after assaulting staff at Miami airport over missed flight, deputies say
Two people — late to their flight to Mexico — tried to force themselves on the plane, combating staff at Miami International Airport, deputies say. They’re now behind bars.
The aftermath of the quarrel was captured on video later posted to social media by Only In Dade. According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the man involved in the altercation threw coffee in the face of an airport staff member.
The video showed several deputies tackling a man near the door leading to the plane. Another deputy could be seen instructing a woman to sit down as she pointed toward the restrained man.
