Aventura couple sexually assaulted 16-year-old several times in two-month span, cops say
An Aventura married couple were caught by police after sexually assaulting a 16-year-old and another teen numerous times over the last two months, officials say.
Alvaro Jaramillo, 26, and Isabel Estrin, 24, began building a “relationship” with the 16-year-old over Instagram on Oct. 10, according to their arrest report from the Aventura Police Department. By Dec. 9, police say the couple met the young girl and another underage girl and had sex with them.
Less than a week later, the couple again coerced the 16-year-old and the other girl to meet them at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casio — Jaramillo and Estrin sexually assaulted the two several times that night, the report read.
Jaramillo and Estrin started a “dating relationship” a few days later, Aventura police wrote in the report. The teen would meet them at Estrin’s parents’ house for sex.
From Dec. 17 to Feb. 1, the teen was sexually abused numerous times and taken to casinos, bars, lounges and clubs, the report read. The interactions stopped when the teen’s mother found out.
Jaramillo and Estrin were arrested Tuesday and charged with one count of unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
Jaramillo received an additional charge of promoting sexual performance by a child after authorities found sexual videos of the teen on his phone.
