Multi-vehicle crash backs up I-95 traffic in north Miami-Dade County, FHP says

Northbound traffic on Interstate-95 was backed up for miles late Thursday morning into the afternoon due to a crash involving several vehicles.

The crash happened near NW 151st Street. Miami-Dade County Fire Rescue said two of its truck crews were at the scene.

Lt. Alejandro Camacho with the Florida Highway Patrol said the four to five cars were involved. As of noon, five travel lanes were closed, with two lanes flowing.

Florida Department of Transportation cameras showed cars at a standstill in the area.
