An argument between several men escalated into gunfire on Tuesday night, leaving three people injured in Miami, according to police.

Around 9:40 p.m., Miami officers rushed to calls of multiple people shot in the area of Northeast First Avenue and 13th Street, the department said. Officers found three men with gunshot wounds. One was grazed by bullets, one was hit in the chest and another hit in the arm, according to police.

The trio were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, said Miami Fire Rescue Lt. Pete Sanchez. Two were taken to Ryder Trauma Center in critical and serious condition; the third is in stable condition. All three are expected to survive, police say.

The Miami Police Department is working to identify the suspects involved.
