Man stabs woman then fatally shoots himself at Miami International Mall, deputies say
A man stabbed a woman multiple times Tuesday afternoon before deputies say he turned the gun on himself at Miami International Mall.
Around 4 p.m., Doral police officers were called to a stabbing at the shopping mall, 1455 NW 107th Ave, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said. In the food court’s kitchen area, cops found a man dead from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound and a woman suffering from stab wounds.
The woman was rushed to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in critical condition. Deputies said the pair were ex-boyfriend and girlfriend.
Miami-Dade Sheriff’s homicide detectives are investigating the case.
