MLK Parade and festivities: The 48th annual parade in Liberty City steps off at 11 a.m. Jan. 20 at Northwest Seventh Avenue along 54th Street to 32nd Avenue. The event features high-school marching bands, student-athletes, dance teams, drill teams, cheerleaders, floats, cars and fire trucks carrying politicians, union leaders and activists. Tamarac MLK Celebration: Family-friendly event features food trucks, a kid’s zone with bounce houses plus vendor hall packed with businesses and community resources.
