Miami-Dade County’s small business community now has a one-stop shop for exploring training, finding a mentor, learning about loans and more. An online portal called Strive305 launched Monday in collaboration with banking company Wells Fargo.

“The Strive305 HUB is more than just a portal; it’s a comprehensive support system,” Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said at an event at Miami Dade College’s downtown Miami campus. “By connecting entrepreneurs to invaluable resources, technical assistance and mentorship, we’re investing in Miami-Dade’s future as a thriving, resilient economy.”

The online hub will assist entrepreneurs with developing their businesses and provide information on opening and registering a company, preparing for emergencies and business planning. Strive305 users will also learn about the importance of networking, mentorship and properly preparing their business taxes.

A virtual small business incubator will offer coaching and mentorship opportunities for business owners of all levels of experience. Technical assistance boot camps will also help users learn more about accessing capital, marketing and operating a business.

Levine Cava said she considers small businesses the backbone of the local economy and sees the new platform as a way to better connect business owners with the resources they need to succeed.

Wells Fargo previously invested $20 million into South Florida’s small business community with its Miami Open For Business grant, which provided local small businesses with grants and loans to build. Wells Fargo spokesperson Jason Rosenberg said Strive305 shows the company’s continued support for local entrepreneurs.

“The Strive305 HUB will support small businesses and economic development by providing local small businesses and entrepreneurs with enhanced access to funding, resources and expertise to help them serve their customers across the region,” said Rosenberg.
