Zoo Miami is the only accredited zoo in the country that has giant elands, which are the world’s largest antelope and are listed as vulnerable by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

The baby boy is back with is mother and herd in their enclosure. Zoo goers might have a hard time spotting the calf as Maria may have her baby boy in a discreet location.

The calf may have some friends coming along soon as two other female giant elands are due to give birth soon.
