Columbus Day, also known as Indigenous Peoples’ Day, is on Monday, Oct. 14.
Columbus Day is a federal holiday, which means federal offices, including the U.S. Postal Service, and most banks, such as Chase, Wells Fargo and Bank of America, are closed.

Pharmacies: Walgreens, CVS and others open.
Banks: Most, if not all, are closed. You can still use ATMs and online banking.
