Man dies after being stabbed in northwest Miami-Dade fight, cops say. Two are in custody
A fight quickly escalated to a fatal stabbing early Saturday in northwest Miami-Dade County, police said.
Around 3:25 a.m., Miami-Dade police were called to reports of a stabbing in the 14600 block of Northwest 185th Street. Officers found a man with stab wounds, police said.
He was airlifted to HCA Aventura Hospital in critical condition and died. Police took two unidentified people into custody; the charges they might face are unclear.
A preliminary investigation found that the stabbing victim and two other people were involved in a fight. One of those two people took out a knife and stabbed the victim.
The investigation is ongoing.
