Miami-Dade police ask for public’s help finding a missing teen girl last seen in August

Miami-Dade police are asking for the public’s help to locate a teenage girl who has been missing for nearly two months.

Police say 16-year-old Sindi Pena Sandoval may be in need of services. She was last seen near the 1200 block of Northwest 103rd Lane around 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 9, according to police.

Sandoval was wearing a white shirt, black pants and white and pink Nike sneakers.

Police are asking anyone with information on Sindi’s whereabouts to call the Special Victims/Missing Persons squad at (305) 715-3300 or Miami-Dade CrimeStoppers at (305) 471-8477.
