A body was found floating off the Rickenbacker Marina on Virginia Key, according to Miami police.
Miami police Marine Patrol boats responded to reports of the body around 2:20 p.m., said Officer Kiara Delva, a police department spokeswoman.
The caller said the person may have been wearing a flotation device, Delva said.
“The investigation is ongoing at this time,” Delva said in an email.
