License plate decals are all over the place in Miami. There’s only one place to stick it
Every year or two, we need to paste that little yellow decal on our license plate to indicate when the vehicle’s registration expires.
It should be routine in Miami.
It isn’t.

Top. Right. Corner.
Not the top left. Not the bottom right. And certainly not in the middle of the license plate.

Here’s another clue: When you are issued a new sticker, just place it over the existing one.
The Florida DMV website puts it plainly: “You must have a decal in the upper right corner of your license plate that shows the month and year that your registration expires.”
Still confused?
To help you out, there’s a little indentation on the license plate that indicates where that decal should go.
