Did you have Xfinity problems? Outages hit more than 42,000 customers in Miami-Dade
As searing heat and choking humidity warnings told Miami-Dade to stay inside, Xfinity customers from Coral Gables to Little Havana and even Star Island dealt with an outage that took away television and, possibly, the internet.
The Xfinity website outage map said more than 42,000 subscribers were affected just in the area bounded by Doral on the Northwest, the University of Miami on the Southwest, and Star, Palm and Hibiscus Islands on the East. The map also said the outage was “unplanned.”
Some outages ended by 12:30 p.m. Others were projected to be fixed by 2:45 p.m.
