Update: Miami police announced that they found the missing Oliver Williams “in good health” before noon. Police have not released details on where the 3-year-old was found or whether they have made any arrests.

An Amber Alert was issued early Saturday morning for a 3-year-old boy who was last seen with his mother and older sister in the area of Northwest Third Avenue and 15th Street in Miami.

Police say they took a call around 3:08 a.m. Saturday that a 2018 gray Hyundai Santa Fe with a Florida tag was stolen from in front of 217 Northwest 15th Street.

“The victim was dropping off something at the Lotus House and left the car running” with her 7-year-old daughter and her sleeping 3-year-old son inside when man with a red baseball cap and orange shirt and dark jeans took the car, said Miami police Officer Michael Vega early Saturday morning.

The suspect drove off with the children still inside, Vega said.

At 3:25 a.m., the 7-year-old girl was dropped off at Northwest Sixth Avenue and 58 Street. She was uninjured, Vega said.

Nearly eight hours later, after the Amber Alert and a police search, the missing boy’s mother received the good news.

Just before 11 a.m., Miami-Dade police received a call regarding an unattended vehicle with a child inside. Police found the Hyundai at Northwest Seventh Avenue and 84th Street.

The 3-year-old boy, identified by police as Oliver Williams and wearing green Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pajamas and multi-colored Crocs, was inside the car and in good health, police said.

The two children were reunited with their mother, police said.

“We still need the public’s help in identifying the suspect in this incident,” Vega said Saturday afternoon as the investigation continues.
