A dead person was found on a Miami Metrorail platform. All stations have reopened

A death investigation at the Earlington Heights Metrorail station in Miami affected service Wednesday afternoon.

Miami-Dade police say a body was found on the platform at the , 2100 NW 41st St., around 1:45 p.m. That station was closed until just before 4 p.m.

Around 3:30, Miami-Dade Transit said that station would remain closed, all others would be opened and a bus service would take passengers between the Earlington Heights station to the Allapattah station, Northwest 12th Avenue and Northwest 33rd Street. If you normally got off Metrorail at Earlington Heights, get off at Allapattah instead.

Earlier, all stations between Brownsville station and Civic Center station were closed by the investigation.
