Officers called to possible ‘body part’ in a bucket. They discovered something else dead.

A call of a possible body part in a bucket in Doral Thursday afternoon turned out not to be human remains. What did officers find instead? A dead small dog.

Just before 1:36 p.m., a caller reported seeing a body part in the bucket in the area of 94th Avenue and Northwest 74th Street, police said.

But instead of human remains, police discovered a small dog’s body following an investigation. The dog did not appear to be abused, Miami-Dade Police Spokesman Angel Rodriguez noted.

It remains unclear whether there will be any additional investigations into this case.
