Three Miami-Dade District 7 candidates vie in online forum Thursday
In the latest of the Miami Foundation’s “Our Miami: The People’s Forums” series, the three candidates for Miami-Dade County Commission District 7 will present their positions at 5 p.m. Thursday.
District 7 includes part of the city of Miami, Key Biscayne, Coral Gables, Pinecrest and Kendall. The seat is currently held by Commissioner Xavier Suarez, who is running for mayor.
The forum, a collaboration between the Miami Foundation and the Miami Herald, will include candidates Cindy Lerner, Raquel Regalado and Michael Rosenberg.
Expected topics include COVID-19, transit and the environment, according to the Foundation.
The event will be streamed live from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday on the Miami Herald’s Facebook page.
