Teen said she was going to do laundry. That was two weeks ago. She hasn’t been seen since

Victoria Garcia walked out of her Southwest Miami-Dade apartment nearly two weeks ago and hasn’t been seen since.

The 16-year-old, whom police are considering an endangered runaway, told her father she was going to the laundry room of their apartment complex.

That was on the evening of June 5. Her dad, Pedro Garcia, told police he went to check on her shortly thereafter and he found an empty laundry basket.

Garcia reported his daughter missing just before 11:30 p.m. June 5 from the Racquet Ball Club Apartments, 14203 SW 66th St.

“The missing juvenile has a behavioral disorder and may be in need of services,” police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Police Department’s Special Victims Bureau/Missing Persons Squad at 305-715-3300 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
